Eduardo Verastegui

Say his name in Mexico, and everyone will know who you are talking about. Now he´s making his breakthrough in the States. His name is Eduardo Verastegui. He has tons of fan clubs and thank goodness Google translates pages since the majority are in Spanish. This Latino was born on May 21, 1974 in Xicotencatl, Tamaulipas. At the age of 17, Eduardo relocated to Mexico City. He studied law, but opted out of college to pursue a career in acting. He joined a musical group called Kairo and the band broke up after two albums. He then began work as an actor. His film projects include: Sonadoras, Una Luz en el camino, Alma rebelde, Tres Mujeres and Ramiro. He has also done extensive modeling work.
In 2001 he came to America to further his career. He recorded an album called Eduardo Verastegui and toured Latin America and the States. In 2002, he appeared in a Jennifer Lopez video.
Famous in Mexico, he´ll easily find the same kind of fame in North America. Source: YFE.org
