How to Meet a Nice Local Woman in Ensenada?? (live, move, build) - Mexico - City-Data Forum

This is my 2nd post about Ensenada...first was about safety.

This one is about ROMANCE!!

What is the possibility of a 30-something American guy (Anglo in this case) meeting a nice MEXICAN woman in Ensenda for a dating relationship (or possibly more)???

My spanish is "decent" for a gringo and I have traveled to other parts of Mexico. So I THINK I have a decent understanding of Mexican history and culture. I have always been struck by the beauty and hospitality of the women in Mexico.

However, I have only been to Ensenada ONCE for ONE day about 10 years ago. So my question is how to go about meeting beautiful, single ladies in Ensenada:

-what are some local hang outs to meet local women?
-do local women even hang out in the downtown area?
-Are American tourists so prevalent that the local Mexican women get turned off by all the Gringos in town?

FYI, I live in So.Calif. so I live within driving distance of Ensenada.

Good luck with that, culturally you have little chance being a visitor who finds love in a short trip down. Either move down there for an extended period of time or just try to find one online and build a relationship from there.

dude, mexican womens are like every women in the world, the same thing you do in your town to hook up, do it in Ensenada, chances of fail or sucess are 50 - 50.

Well, I went to Playa Del Carmen in 2005 and met a nice local girl there. I was only there for a few days. I came back a month later to visit her.

We had a nice time. She wanted to see more of me but I decided the distance from LA to Playa Del Carmen was a bit much.

Granted it's a crapshoot anytime but ANYTHING is possible.....
