This may sound like a strange question, but does anybody know where the Mexican Federal Police congregate when they are not on-duty? Specifically, where one would go to meet them to try to date one of them. I crossed the Bridge of the Americas last week and, although I was very nervous, I was simultaneously struck by how handsome the Federales were.
I am a Caucasian who moved here from Detroit, and I can't get over how handsome the men are down here, especially the Mx Federales. After doing some research, I discovered they train in southern and central Mexico... The guys down there all must be scorching hot.

How old are you? It's not a good idea to cross into Mexico looking for a date. Heck, I won't even cross into Oklahoma looking for one.

Lol - I am a 32 y/o psychiatrist and just graduated medical school/residency/fellowhip. I thought Juarez was going to be some terrible place and, although I only saw a little bit of it, the part I saw wasn't as bad as the media portrays it to be.
I went with American friends who know their way around and was very careful. Granted, even when one is careful, untoward things can still happen. However, if one looks at the murder rate in CJ, it is simply high but not terribly dangerous (2-3 murders/day in a city of almost 2 million; if one factors out how many of those 2-3 murders are drug related, the homicide rate is probably commensurate to any big city)...
When I go again this weekend, I will again take my friends native to CJ with me...

I'm glad to hear that.
Don't get me wrong, I love Mexico. I take driving trips to San Juan de los Lagos in the western mountains (very rural) and then to Mexico City every couple of years. I speak Spanish and that helps but I always have my godmother and her son with me. She is from Mexico and can ease the way because she knows the ropes. We always pay mordida on the Mexican side when we cross into Mexico. Been doing it since the 60s.
The border towns are rough. Juarez can also be quite lovely if you go to the right places. BUT, unfortunately the Federales are known for their corrupt practices. Just be careful because it can be a dangerous place and when in danger I prefer to be on US soil.

You are desperate if you are after a Federale. I had a friend who was traveling with her boyfriend years ago in a remote part of Mexico and raped by several Federales.
Why not ask some Cartel members where the Federales are and their hours? They probably keep tabs on them better than anyone else. Better yet, why not be a pen pal with some U.S. prisoners?
Crrogers22: If you want to meet Federales, you can ask any citizen in Juarez, they usually stay in hotels in the downtown of Cd. Juarez.
They are people too and date and had fun, for those who believe they are animals just for being cops.
I don't think they are animals for being cops. Some are good and some are bad. The problem in that part of Mexico is you don't know which cops are owned by the Cartels and are bad guys.
If she is looking for hunks, go to Addison Texas, a suburb of Dallas, and the firemen there are as hunky as they get. I think the only test they have to pass is a good looking test. Maybe Addison stopped hiring hunks by now because they got so many false fire alarms from women wanting to look at the firemen. I know I thought about it before.
Just don't call them federales haha. Realize there are many forms of police in Mexico and these days many army members in Juarez. Every kind of police has some local nickname and many of them are not nice so I wouldn't use those either. Lastly, members of gangs often resort to dressing up as police to nab unsuspecting victims and this might be the best reason to cool it in your pursuit. Besides much of El Paso's police force is of Mexican heritage, why not start there?
If you get a chance, while you're scouting things out, set me up with the chica that works in the caja at the Banjercito at the border in Reynosa.
