Here's the new flag proposal for Miami. I designed it myself to incorporate the most memorable colors and include a representation of the flags of the Caribbean in the design. Each star has colors corresponding to Jamaica, Brasil, Guatemala, Barbados, Cuba/Puerto Rico, Haiti, and the Bahamas.

Sorry, had to laugh when I saw this one - guess there's no
AMERICAN FLAG in there - yes, we are becoming obsolete here in Miami - to the point we don't even deserve a star

well, I've included the Red White and Blue of Cuba and Puerto Rico in the same star so that star would have to include any nations that had those primary colors on their flags including the USA. I haven't yet figured out a way to cram stars and stripes into one of those tiny stars, so until I do, this will have to suffice. But look at all the pretty colors!!!

I'm more of a minimalistic guy, two colors are enough for me.

I like it. However, I think I'd add one thing to slightly improve it... sorry it's not perfect - my editting that is ...
