Hey everyone I will be relocating from NY to MIA in May. I am looking for a nice affordable (around $1000 can be less can be a little more) place in Aventura / North Miami Beach area...want to be close to Biscayne Blvd.

Can anybody recommend a nice gated community within my price range?? Looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom.

thanks in advance for your help

Aventura consists entirely of nice gated communities, but you won't find anything to rent for $1000/month.

Have you looked on a real estate website like Zillow? That's the best way to get an idea of what to expect in a given locale.

I am paying just under $900, and I've seen as low as $825 in my complex. Of course, It is an old complex and you'd pay more in a newer high-rise condo with more amenities. There are 2 condo complexes on West Dixie that are decent, large, and rent under $1K, and actually have more amenities than I have. Officially they're on the North Miami Beach side of the road, but close enough.
