Heiniken for gringo wannabees, Polar (Venezualan beer) for rich Venezuelans, Dos XX for Homestead's thriving work force, Red Stripe for my Bombaclaud posse...

One thing is for sure, Miamians definitely seem to be missing out on the entire microbrew market (or at least as of 2 years ago). I was shocked to discover the wonderful world of microbews when I moved out of FL - the selection at grocery stores alone is quite substantial, and then different stores often carry different breweries.

Does FL have some sort of weird liquor law that doesn't allow microbrews to be sold at groceries (and I don't really remember seeing them much in bars, either)? Or is the market just not there (people are content with the big names)?
