Check out this map. It overlays census data based on race, age and other factors.

That area isn't really all that black compared to other parts of Dade County.

No I know its not all black, but there are many more than say just north in Palmetto Bay. But that area just west of the mall, the heights or something, is a mostly black.

This is a broad question, but do the African American and Latino populations in Miami get along with one another?

Yes it is a broad question. Yes for the most part they get along. I am going to generalize (so this doesn't represent every hispanic person) hispanics for some reason have issue with blacks in general. They look down apon them. This is just my opinion on what I have been told by hispanics that I have met.

West Palm Beach has a large black African-American/Haitian population. Riviera Beach is majority black but most of the population there is poor and your store would probably get shot up or something. In West Palm Beach there are lots of blacks who make a good amount of money and live in suburban areas. You'd want to avoid Bell Glade, it's majority black but it's a poor area.

Boynton Beach and Delray Beach in south Palm Beach County also have a considerable amount of black populations there.

The problem with many of the areas mentioned previously are that they're in areas no one in their right mind would want to open a business in - Overtown/Liberty City? Uh, no. NO ONE would want to live or run a business there, black or otherwise.

In Broward there's Lauderhill but most of the population there is Jamaican black.

In Latin American countries the whites are usually the people in charge of the countries. You'll hardly ever see native americans or blacks in politicians in Latin American countries. This dates back to the old Spanish colonial days. The Spanish reign of the 18th and 19th centuries instituted a society of castes based on racial differences where blacks and indigenous peoples were treated like slaves and the political and religious oligarchy was comprised exclusively of white Spaniards.
