MSU is upgrading somewhat as UM becomes more selective. The upper middle class in Michigan is doing well, although perhaps not as well as those in the Red States (Arizona, North Carolina, Texas, etc) ... but most of their children aren't getting any smarter.

Go Blue!

Selective? Some places are since GM pulled some money off. Lansing is emptying . Hey maybe MSU could balance Michigan's budget. Then again, if someone really cared i wouldn't be responding and if you had sense you wouldn't have written that. The only thing Red in Michigan are our microwave communities.

That's true...tons of money among the college students at MSU. Actually there are all kinds of students, but visually you'll see a lot of rich suburbanites from around Detroit there.

I went to MSU my Freshman year and then transferred out. There are also kids from all over MI from every walk of life...but most of them are walking and you wouldn't see them. But yeah, there are a lot of rich kids going to school there as well. All kinds though.
