Top in what way? Is this for you? What kind of place do you like, what kind of neighborhood do you like, what's your target budget, etc. There are tons of apartments downtown and near General Mills, and what's a good fit for one person could be a terrible fit for another person.

Eclectic apartments or townhomes with washer n dryer included, underground parking, near nice restaurants...at least 1000 sq ft....no more than 1500

There's so many good ones! It would be unfair to list just the top 5!

This place looks nice for "near General Mills".

FYI, Golden Valley is pretty quiet. Could be a great fit if you don't mind driving to those nice restaurants, and of course you'll be right by work. Downtown would definitely be better for proximity to interesting dining, but not sure how easy it is to find something that size with underground parking in that price range. Depends on what type of neighborhood you want. They're both so different.

You could also consider somewhere like the West Calhoun area (right on the border of St. Louis Park and Minneapolis, on the banks of Lake Calhoun); it's still very convenient to Golden Valley, but also has a lot of restaurants, has Lake Calhoun, and is near Uptown. There's a range of housing over there, including towers and complexes that probably have parking garages and possibly in-unit laundry in your budget. Sorry, no recommendations for specific buildings, but the big buildings will all be in those apartment search sites, and there's always padmapper or craigslist.
