Former Brooklyn Center police officer Kimberly A. Potter was arrested late Wednesday morning at the offices of the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the agency said in a statement.

Potter, who resigned from the police department on Tuesday, was charged with second-degree manslaughter in the shooting death on Sunday of Daunte Wright, the Washington County Attorney's Office said. She was booked into Hennepin County jail shortly after noon, jail records show.

a few facts and thougths...

-Yelling "Taser" repeatedly does not turn the gun into a taser.

-Similar case the officer got 2 years.

-She was the union chief for her area.

-She was a supervisor with 26 years of experience and was helping "train" other officers. I wonder what rotten fruit will come from this tree?

-86% of the officers are white in one of the most diverse cities in Minnesota.

-It's hard to imagine mistaking a gun for a taser. The weight and size are very different.

-It will be interesting to check out her social media activity. It could be telling about her attitude.

I read where the arresting officer was Negro/black/African-American/Black. Potter was backup.

The police chief, who also resigned, stated that they have the taser on the hip of their weak-hand side (left for right handers) and pistol on the hip of their strong-hand side. It seems like she would have trained so that grabbing the taser was an automatic action without having to think. Massive FAIL.

This should be a fairly open-and-shut trial. How could a defense attorney explain away her on-video comment of "Oh, sh*t! I shot him!"? I hope that she pleads guilty to second-degree. The police need to learn to keep cool heads.

But, I don't see this as being a racially motivated incident. Ol' Walz done stuck his foot in mouth once again. Kid had an arrest warrant out for him and he was out of the car doing okay from the video. Not sure why he chose to run. That is what Walz should be proclaiming: Obey and don't try to run away.

Second degree manslaughter which makes sense, based on the title I thought they actually charged her with murder. Now, what are the chances #BLMob quiets down and doesn’t burn down the city because they won’t settle for anything less than immediate on the spot stoning?

The videos linked to below are just so precious.

CNN, which is one of the biggest cheerleaders for BLM and Anti-fa, sent a film crew to record the "peaceful protests" in front of the Brooklyn Center police department. Watch what happens. Too funny.

Don't worry. No one got hurt. CNN just got a little egg on their face.

Fifth night bullying the residents of Brooklyn Center. They really pick the lowest income areas to harass. These folks can't afford to go stay up in a hotel or move. What thoughtful rioters.

So Walz as much as declares Kim guilty, fans the flames of racial unrest again and just stand back watching. Why do we even need a judge and jury? Walz has spoken.

A family member within the industry told me this week about how all the good cops have long left BC department, because city council does not support them at all. They also mentioned since the use of force agenda started March 1st, she’ll be guilty, this was before any info came out.

The bolded part is clearly the most important aspect of that incident.

Clearly.
