The St. Croix River, from Stillwater to about 3 miles or less from Danbury, WI.

Twin Cities, to many specific neighborhoods in Minneapolis and St. Paul to list, but for the most part, the entire metro(to me) is beautiful.

The valley around Mankato

Haven't been "up north" in years so can't comment on that.

Least Interesting-Southwest MN(I don't hate it, just don't personally care for it, my family and some others get really defensive about it...)

and Central Minnesota around St. Cloud, not the entire central part of the state though, there are tons of wonderful small towns such as Annandale(my hometown Lived there 16 years) in that area. But a lot of the area I don't personally care for, though.

Mankato and the surrounding river valley -- the historic downtowns (Mankato / North Mankato) against the steep, heavily-wooded Minnesota River bluffs are stunning, as well as the waterfalls and rock cliffs in the area.

SE Minnesota's driftless area. The steep, rolling hills and cliffs are beautiful, and remind me of the Appalachian Mountains.

SW Minnesota plains -- there's really nothing like the Great Plains, especially during sunrise and sunset, or any time during the spring. The prairie in full bloom in May and June is brilliant, and even the cornfields can be invigorating.

Northeastern Minnesota -- I've been all over Southern Minnesota, but I've never been north of St. Cloud (in MN). I've been dying to get up to Bemidji, Grand Rapids, International Falls and the surrounding parts of northern Ontario and Manitoba to explore the taiga and lakes.

Least interesting -- the Twin Cities metro area.

I dunno ... the metro has Minnehaha Falls, Saint Anthony Falls, the beautiful wildlife preserve along the Minnesota River valley, and some rather beautiful lakes within the city limits. It isn't just concrete. Still, I like other places in the state better also...

One of the beautiful places this state has is a section of Superior Hiking Trail, that is between
Jay Cook State Park and Becker Road in Duluth. About a ten mile hike especially in the fall
