Yea, I love it and hope it does not change. There is nothing wrong with it.

Is Minnesota going to be one of the last states that "truly become diverse" in the United States?

Please do more research there are many other states that have a higher percentage of white people than MN and have you even been to Minnesota?

Minnesota is not on the top ten of least diverse states in the country.
The Least Diverse States in America - MainStreet

You find it odd that rural Minnesota is predominately white and similar to other surrounding states? I think Minnesota is a pretty nice state, if its too white for you, don't move there.

Oh please, get over yourself. I can think of a lot of better things to lose some sleep over than if a state is "diverse" or not.

I'm sure Minnesota is not falling short of your diversity quota on purpose.

Reverse Racism at it's finest.

Our heritage points to what we are now. It's as simple as that. It's not ironic or coincidental that the largest populations of African Americans are in the south... Even the migration patterns of immigrants and slaves can paint a picture why places like Kansas City, Detroit, St. Louis and Chicago have the African American populations like they do.

I agree, it's not like we have a sign that says "No blacks allowed" once you hit St. Cloud and northward.

It is what it is. What do you want us to do about it?

And.. talk about white.. You ever been to Utah? Or Montana? Or NoDak? Or Iowa? Or Nebraska? Or SoDak? Or Wyoming?

Geeze.

And if I wanted to be apart of a Melting Pot of a bunch of goons NOT like me, I'd move to Greenwhich Village.

I'll keep my "Vanilla" life in flyover country

There's no harm in attempting to educate. People simply don't realize that some parts of the US are far more isolated from traditional ports of entry than anyplace in Europe (for example), and that the north-central US is a harsher climate than anywhere on that continent except for far northern Scandahoovia.

One of the largest Hmong communities in the US.

A well-established Latino culture in St. Paul. Yeah, we're so anti-immigrant here in MN that only Sweden (a WHOLE country) has more Somalian immigrants than MN. This is the land of Hubert Humphrey-- the man, in case you have forgotten (or had no clue in the first place, and are just parroting right-wing talking points),who picked up the civil rights bill (and saw it passed, thanks to his RELENTLESS work), after JFK was assassinated.

We welcomed the "boat-people" in the aftermath of Vietnam. We welcomed the Hmongs. We welcomed the Mexican migrants. Get a clue.
