I think its neat when out hiking the woods or somewhere, to notice the different animal tracks in the snow along the way, wondering what might have made some of them.

What do I like about Winter? Hmmmmmmm.......It's really a tossup between keeping my entry way clean of the dirty salt, wet gritty sand and snow dragged in several times a day and attempting to keep my car reasonably clean, inside and out ! I just can't decide which one is my favorite! :-) I guess it could be parking my motorcycle for 7 or 8 months every year.......so many choices! !

The deep snow and the nice BRIGHTNESS it provides in the winter when the sun angle is lower. People really underestimate this postive effect. I also like the fact that fewer people are out in the woods and the touristy areas tend to be quieter compared to Summer.

Watching the people run like the devil from their heated car to another heated place without a warm coat and at the same time tell everyone who would listen how much they like a theatre of seasons!
