Sounds great! Gambling is one of the best economic drivers we have. We need to squeeze it for all it is worth.

I wish we would do more with sports gambling (online platforms, etc).

On the surface, looks like a pretty big deal. 1.2 billion will be a very nice arena, I'm guessing you don't drop that type of change unless they think they'll be getting some big acts.

Southaven and Biloxi can get some big name acts, especially country acts. They just won't come to Jackson.

Rumors are another large entertainment venue for Biloxi will be announced (in a few months).

I know KISS announced a casino before the pandemic but the ground breaking was postponed.

I've wandered over to your forum from Alabama. This is semi-related to the topic of this thread... I'm just curious as to the status of the proposed super regional mall in D'Iberville that would have potentially brought a Macy's to Mississippi. I remember hearing about it a few years back from my cousin who lives in Gulfport but haven't heard anything since. Is this proposal dead?
