What would they do at a booth? Sell movies? Thats a funny question? KKK would be there to recruit.

It's not a funny question at all. If you read the previous post, they said same reason they wouldn't give the gays a booth. I think it's stupid. Both groups have a right to have a booth at a carnival. Those that are interested will venture over, those that are not will keep it moving.

MODERATOR: Please, let's keep this thread going in an informational direction - if we get into controversy over the right and wrong we'll need to flip this to another forum...Thank you!

There's a lot of freedoms people in this country can't handle, that doesn't mean we should take them away.

No you are right about that. I just can't picture a gay booth at the ms state fair. I better stop now or I will most likely say something that offends somebody.

When was the last time you saw a gay organization with a booth at a state fair? That's beside the point, because gay people don't preach hate--they tend to be a bit more on the accepting side. I have met some truly wonderful gay people, and have no issues with the gay lifestyle. I used it as a reference point for whether or not the clan had any relevance at a state fair. Stick up for them if you like, I suppose that is your right. Not the side I would choose, but each to their own.

I'm not sticking up for them, i'm black and when have you heard of a black taking up for the kkk?...gay people have no need to have a booth at a state fair whereas kkk could recruit there...i'm sure the reason u don't see gay booths is cus there is no point of them there, not becuase they're not ALLOWED
