Do they just do a background check on the ones they inteend on hiring or everyone that interviews? I had my interview on march 23 and got a call today from hireright, the background check place asking about proof of graduation. The online registry they checked didnt even show my name in the records, apparently they checked the wrong school. I had to fax a copy of my high school diploma to them. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes. But didn't find out until it was to late for them to fix it. It's been 11 weeks since interviewed but made it past the wave of rejection letters so far.

What is your timeline ?
I applied Aug 24
computer test approx. Oct 20
work simulation Jan 15
interview/drug test Feb 2
and nothing else since. Would a call or a letter be too much to ask ?
What am I missing ?

There has been people on this forum that has interviewed and been hired with no call for a background check starting or ending. I really don't know if they just do a background check on certain individuals or how they determine who gets one and who dont.

If you call all they will tell you is that as long as you haven't gotten a rejection call or letter just be patient and eventually they may call. They WON'T tell anyone anything else on the phone or in person.

They do a background on everyone but may not call your personal references. Believe me they will know everything about your past.
