It's good to live in America!

Condolences to those who suffered losses and prayers for all and their continued safety. It's good to be a Missourian!
Glad to see you here. Was a little worried because I don't know exactly where abouts you live. Stay safe, looks like the weather is going to stay iffy down south for a couple of days

I just heard on Fox News that the Red Cross says that 75% of Joplin is basically gone!:-(

I must look like Hiroshima there.

Thanks. We're in SW MO on Table Rock Lake. Last evening we were surrounded by 6-8 funnel clouds but thankfully, none of them touched down. Made for some interesting sky watching, though.

Our hearts go out to those not so fortunate and their families.

Thunder, lightening, darkening skies, et al, right now. It ain't over yet!

Ditto. Joplin is a great little city with some of the nicest people I've ever met. God speed.

Hard to imagine this was a neighborhood / business district a few hours before this was taken

This picture gives me chills. My thoughts and prayers are going out to these poor people. My goodness. So sad.

One person I remember from that area is DocGSD. I haven't seen him around the forums in a long time so I don't know if he still lives in the area.

I am crying my eyes out. I feel so bad--the fear and terror those poor people went through.
