Nice write up by Southern Living Magazine on beautiful historic Mobile. Mobile really has some architecturally rich and beautiful neighborhoods with some really dope local food spots.

Developers have received tentative approval to renovate an existing building at 200 St. Emanuel St., in Fort Conde Village in Mobile, and locate a restaurant on the first floor and two apartment units on the second floor, according to the Mobile Planning Commission. The proposed project is in the Church Street East Historic District and would require approval from the Architectural Review Board.

Good for downtown but another seafood joint ?!?!? .

Side bar : Al.com ran article on seafood restaurants in the state and only 1 was mentioned in Mobile. Majority were in North Alabama lol.Not saying that there aren't any good ones up that way its just crazy that they only mentioned one for Mobile smh.Al.com's journalism became horrible when they took away the local writers.

Anyway.Any word on Truman's Oyster Bar downtown.
