Somewhere among my artifacts I have a bright orange pit suit from some race-car team. I wonder what sort of rainsuit it would make... it's that thick coated nylon stuff. Well, at least I'd be visible... for miles around

Rez, you asked what kind of rainsuit let's the rain in, a **** poor one. Until now, I've had to put it on only a few times and it did pretty good. But yesterday, I built up a good half inch of snow/ice on it. My windshield on the 4 wheeler was not visible through it and it was hard enough that I couldn't wipe it, so I am wondering if the combination of rain, snow, and ice is what did it. I do know that I am now shopping for something different.

Its hard to balance out what is needed. Something light enough for summer rain squalls and also fall storms like I encountered yesterday. Its got to be something that I can pull on without having to take off my boots. haha. Guess I will have to hit Cabelas on my next trip to Billings.

By the way, I am just now warm enough to relax.

Got my M48 today. I am stoked. If you are curious what a M48 is, take a Google at the Tomahawk Squadron" in special forces. Military issue tomahawks. Good survival weapon.

Okay, that was not nice. So in the spirit of show and tell, I just ordered a Sweater Wheel. These were sold in the late sixties and can only be found used. Google Raglan Sweater Wheel by Bea Freeman.
So hit with your best shot...fire away, lol...

Sweater wheel? Are you talking about one of those round things that you weave yarn around and round? Always wanted one of those.

p.s. haven't chopped off any extremeties yet. Came close though. Been practicing throwing. if nothing else, I am getting exercise chasing it.

Been all morning assembling my crossbow. Used it a few years ago to take a couple deer. My brother was thinking of one so I sent mine down to him to play with. He finally sent it back, of course completely disassembled, so I spent all morning putting it back together. With all the surgery's, I didn't have the strength to restring it. hahahahaha. had to go over and have Mike help me. It's strung now and ready for hunting. Picked up some 4 flute Muzzys. I'm ready!

Fashion accessories for your rock-climbin' truck:

Alibaba.com - Wholesale 26.5-25 protection chain of wheel loader

And if Elk can't hit me with his tomahawk when I'm in my orange jumpsuit, his aim sucks.

That is too funny. I am way out of practice with it. I used to be pretty good at throwing it. Today, I went out to the wood pile and was lucky I hit earth. I spent more time fetching it, than I did retrieving it out of the log. We're talking a 4 ft wide cottonwood, no more than 20 feet away. I would throw it and then have to go find it in the weeds. Like I said, I used to be pretty good at making it stick. Good thing I didn't take my truck out there, it would have been in danger. hahahahaha. Practice practice practice, that's what it will take. We used to practice at the range 4 or 5 hours every day. Also, we would drill on handling techniques, every day. Today, I felt like a cub bear with mittens on. hahahahaha

That is a hell f a set of chains. It is almost to the point of too much. A solid set almost becomes too much.

I have two sets of chains. One set is normal chains. I put them on the back. The other set is a full 2 inch set of lugs. They really dig.
