My dad used to make a cabbige 'stuff' in a big old heavy crock pot under the sink. It was good, but once we dug into it, you could stand to be in the house, due to the smell. He called it his home made sour kraut.

I have found that in bar-b-q's and smokers. I wish there was a lower setting. Sometimes I want to slow cook and can't. Its too warm.
Well, being my first batch of pastrami it turned out the instacure was a little heavy, so my boy has been drinking water out of a A pail wash bucket for a week, lol.

Serves him right.

Finally. Hopefully my typing will be better. I got a new phone. I have been having problems with my telephone in that it auto corrects after I hit Send and that's when I noticed that I really screwed everything up. I ordered a Kyocera DuraForce. Its bulletproof. Can bounce it off the concrete, submerge it in water, etc. Now im going through all the setup crap.
DuraForce by Kyocera

Seems like it should be a good one. Got it free, no contracts. It meets Mil Spec, if that tells you anything. I got it Saturday and charged it over night. Then I started updating this, reinstalling that, calling this and getting called from that. Haven't charged it up since Sat night and right now I'm still at 21% of battery life, so its holding pretty well.

So far, I like it. Oh, and the volume is a lot better than any phone iv ever had.

Wait, it was changing your emails AFTER you hit send? What sort of insanity is that??! Oh, wait, maybe it's some of that newfangled encryption we've heard about, to make it so no one can read it.

I've seen good reviews on Kyocera. Sounds like a barn phone. So how'd you get it for free?

AT&T has what they call, the 'Next' program. No contract, but you pay full price for the phone. $339. However, I have been with them long enough that they offer discounts. The phone actually costs me $13.30 a month, but, I get a $15 a month discount on my bill from here on out. Much the same as a contract in that I have to pay for the help iPhone on, over time, but as long as i stick with them, my discount is more than my cost of the phone. Make sense?

Not sure: you pay $13.30 for how many months? And how long you will get the $15 a month discount? How much is your monthly bill and what is included?
Looks like a great phone!

I could select 18, 24, or 36 months and the each had a different price. I selected 24 months as that made the payment less than the discount. AaThe discount runs from now on. So once the phone is paid for, I will see the full $15 a month discount.
