High winds. 35-45 MPH with gusts up to 65mph.

Rickers, you're already getting hit in your area, Billings by noon or shortly after, Seven, later this afternoon/evening.

Sub-Zero temps accompany this snow and wind.

Coffee's been on for over and hour, where's everybody at???
Oh yea EH, I have already packed to stay in town to work. And it is going to keep on for a few days

We're supposed to get hit with the same storm, here. So my 4 wheeler is covered, plow is attached, gas tank is full. I'm ready!

I would love to see about 24 inches of snow and 40 mph winds. Would cause some of the rifraff to move south again.

It's that global warming at work

Funny thing, when you hear people complaining, it's not usually the snow or the cold that gets 'em, it's the wind.

Me, I like the wind.

Except when I gotta go out in it and do chores... like right now. Blowin' to beat hell and raining here (snowing just a little ways uphill, too). Chores are gonna be kinda minimalist this morning! A scoop o'poop out, a scoop o'grub in, bye!!

Rez I see where much of your state is sliding down a hill

EH easy does it....

I saw this in the Gazette today, hope I can get it on my dish.

New Outdoor Channel TV show follows Montana game wardens

Continue to batten down here, everything is in the shop that can be there. Yep the little plow is on the 4wheeler.

Hey, you would really laugh at the people here in FL. I'm walking around in shorts and a light shirt, and everyone else has heavy coats, gloves and stocking caps. It's been in the twenties at night and upper 40's during the day. However, now it is expected to return to the 70's during the day. Everyone here thinks I'm crazy because I love this abnormally cold and dry weather. The only problem here is that homes are not adequately insulated so the cold just comes right in; nonetheless, this is a welcomed change from the intense heat and humidity. Sure, no place is perfect, but I definitely prefer cold and snow as compared to the relentless heat and humidity that seems to last forever here in FL!!!

Happy New Year 2011 to all!!!

Default I need some cheese with my whine !

One minute you're on top of the world, ~~ next minute your buried.

We are stuck big time.
Zero cash, out of gas, blew the trucks engine, car stuck in snow deep, out of firewood, dog sick from eating turkey poop, an empty building we are paying on.
What next ? Darn those pesky budget malfunctions. At least we have some food.

Just when you didn't think it could slide any lower...!!

I tellya, what they know about water containment and management here, you could painlessly tattoo on their foreheads with a jackhammer.

The ground is solid where I am, and drains nicely, so no problems even tho we had 5 years worth of rain in 5 days!

So sorry to hear life is conspiring against you-- I hope 2011 will bring better times, and sooner rather than later!
