THen they break out the Sodium Chloride and hook it to my IV. I"m thinking, wait a minute, isn't Sodium Chloride one of the three drugs they use for Lethal Injections? Crap, they just hooked me up. THen they connected another bag and it was Phosphate something or other. I guess they wanted me to light up a little as they put me to sleep.

Oh I'm feeling a lot better and thanks for all the well wishers.

While in the hospital, they had me on a liquid diet. I told them I wanted to go home so I could get something to eat. Friday, at 9, the doctor made her rounds. I said, I'm hungry. She laughed and said, "We'll give you a normal meal at noon and see what happens." Until then, everything had been liquids.

So I told her, that would be fine, but could they hurry up and bring it, I'm hungry. So they brought me an early lunch of a hamburger on a bun, and beans. That was at 11. At 12 I made the nurses call the DR and tell her that everything stayed down. I was discharged, changed clothes, and my son met me out front at 1pm. I was outta there. I have come to hate hospitals. Believe me, I think I have more experience then most.

Lessee... so far in our collective tummy we've got gravel roads, paved roads, brownstone blocks, and marble blocks. Eat some fibre for the wood frames and a bit of iron ore for the pipes, and pretty soon we'll have enough materials to build a whole town!

That's the mortar between the brownstone blocks (the potatoes).

I'm not sure if you bake the building before or after you eat it. Do you melt the cheese or just slap a slice between the potataoes?

Perhaps we should have a contest:

Last time I had a heart attack, I stayed home. There's little a hospital can do for me that I can't do for myself. I really hate hospitals and the expense.

Unless of course, it leads to a cardiac arrest - in which case, I'd really rather just move on, as opposed to having some very excited folks practicing their 'crash cart' and defibrillator skills on me.

I'd probably go in for some other conditions, but, like you EH - I just cannot wait to get the heck outta there.

Since 2006. I've been hospitalized 27 times of 3 days or more.

Hospitalizations have been from Cancer to the latest bug. I even had 60% of my large, 60% of my colon, and 40% of my small intestine left in a Billings dumpster. Not to mention that Billings stole my belly button and won't give it back. Social Security does not pay compansation for Belly Buttons so I either want compansation or the safe return. Either way, it's their call.
