The difference between the "old mall" and "new mall" is getting slimmer by the week. I would think the value for a local but popular business would be the old mall. If several committed it could find a nitch.
The key would be to get Biafora onboard with turning a mall around. He has harmed downtown and the Wharf District with his political antics, but he is absolutely the state's master developer. He could make it happen.
Depends. Some companies will weather the storm better than others. Those that do may seek to exploit a competitive advantage and get established first.
Same as 2008-2009. Larger companies with cash reserves and access to capital will come out on top.
I haven't made it to Morgantown since this is going on. Has Bass started their store yet. I realize dates have been pushed back but i'm still hoping for any announcements soon. I would think Drury would be starting soon. I can't wait to drive up there hopefully in the next few weeks. Has anyone been to the new Chick fil a.I would think while this is going on they would be working on the change to the roundabout now.

Zero state road construction going on in this entire area (complete BS if you ask me). Bass they have moved more dirt and there is more machinery on site and same with the gas station spot but that’s about it so far. Driving through West Ridge they poured some curbs in the last couple weeks right at the front and it’s clear the curbs were poured to match up with the diverging diamond interchange in the future.
