Too much recent stuff. Try some classics kiddies. For example:

"Raising Arizona", pick a scene, any scene.

"M*A*S*H", a lot of scenes but then closing of "Jawbreakers" service, when everyone gathers on one side of the table.

"Alice's Restaurant", heck, I can listen to the song and laugh my butt off.

"Dr. Strangelove", pick a scene, any scene.

"It Happened One Night",

"A Fish Called Wanda", argument between Jamie Lee Curtis and Kevin Kline.

"Love You To Death", typing Kevin Kline's name reminded me of this often overlooked comedy.

"Blazing Saddles", almost any scene

"Young Frankenstein"

"L. A. Story",

"Monty Python and the Holy Grail"

"Animal House",

"Some Like It Hot"

"Quickchange", none of you have seen this, shame.

"Kingpin"

"City Slickers", great movie, some great scenes

Golfgod, I just watched It Happened One Night for the umpteenth time last week. Love that movie. A few favorites:

O Brother Where Art Thou--any scene, but especially enjoyed "We thought you wuz a toad."

Election--every time Tracy Flick is thwarted, you hear that wild angry native music.

Hope and Glory--the googly (you have to watch the film to understand) the river seething with bombed fish, the attempt to go to school at the finale.

The Holy Grail, of course. All of it. And I love Airplane and Blazing Saddles.

We saw the 40-Year-Old Virgin in a theater, and being among a laughing crowd does make stuff funnier. The waxing scene ... I thought I was going to wet my pants. I'd post a YouTube video but it's full of swearing. The screaming and even the waxer was trying not to laugh ... too funny.
