Yes, and the bad guy will be the bad-ass from "No country for old men."

But you know what would be great. Sean Connery making a cameo apearance.

"Bond......old Bond"

Yeah, that would be cool!!

I have watched all the Bond films and I have to say I like Daniel Craig more than any of the other actors who have came before him in this role. He brings an undertone of violence to the character that's been missing for many years. He plays the role with much more intensity than seen in previous actors and pulls it off with ease. Cant wait to see the newest film. I am sure it will be a huge success.

Couldn't agree more. It was certainly time for a more violent Bond in my opinion. I did like Sean Connery though in the early films especially Goldfinger.

I'm an old school Sean Connery James Bond fan but I will agree with you guys that Daniel Craig does bring a lot more undertone, violence, and intensity to the role. I was actually a bit nervous that he wouldn't be returning as Bond.

Great post! I'm ashamed to admit that I was adamantly against the guy when they first announced his casting because I was rooting for Clive Owen but wow, is Daniel amazing. The Bond in Die Another Day seemed so cheesy and weak - it's a refreshing change to have Daniel's rough and intense Bond now.

I agree 100%. Daniel Craig is the best 007 of the whole series and IMHO Timothy Dalton at second (Pierce Brosnan being the worst). The new 007s are way more 'intelligent' and I'm glad the writers have taken away the farfetched doomsday scenarios with 007 saving the world, corny sexual overtones and the childish gadgets like Roger Moore's movies. Daniel Craig's 007 character is more serious and intelligent. Also, Judi Dench is EXCELLENT. She is totally no non-sense and brilliant in her role as 'M.' No one in the planet can play a better "M" than her.

-Cheers.

In my mind, when I think "James Bond," I still see Sean Connery and probably always will. He's so iconic.

But Daniel Craig is a real close second. But as brilliant as he is, I have to give credit where credit is due. Craig completely reinvented the role, but he didn't do it on his own. His portrayal was so brilliant because the writing, direction, and production of Casino Royale was so spectacular. The makers of that film just nailed it. It's one of the most perfect action/adventure movies ever made.

I liked both Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan as Bond. The problem with those movies was that the scripts were just so bad. The Dalton movies committed the one sin a Bond film should never commit. They were BORING. The Brosnan films were just getting progressively sillier, but it wasn't Brosnan's fault so much as the overall direction of the series.

I liked the early Roger Moore films and LOVED For Your Eyes Only (still one of my favorite Bond films), but after that, again the films just got silly.

I've never seen the Lazenby movie.
