If I just think of Amy Schumer thinking she is pretty and strutting her stuff I laugh. Genius.

Also, Office Space, Planes Trains and Automobiles, and oddly enough, Pulp Fiction. "Look at the big brain on Brad!" Oops!

Part of it has to do with age....at the time, I remember never laughing harder than when I watched “Animal Houseâ€. More recently, the heartiest laughs we got were with “Fight Clubâ€, though not intended as a comedy obviously. I thought my wife was going to pee herself laughing.

Most comedies now leave us absolutely dry, we don’t even bother trying them any more after turning off several so called funniest movies ever.

I thought this was about one or maybe a few favorites, not long lists, so here are my faves:

Eating Raoul
Scenes from the Class Struggle in Beverly Hills
Raw (Eddie Murphy)
Beetlejuice
Best in Show
Train Wreck
The Gods Must Be Crazy
— thanks to Almrasch for reminding me of that one!

When I saw Raw, I laughed so often and so hard I was afraid of getting kicked out. There were people walking out of there; they must have thought I was unredeemably politically incorrect.

So many to choose from. No way to limit it to one, but how about a top 5 ...

Weird Science
Rat Race
History of the World, Part 1
Bedazzled (the version with Brendan Fraser and Elizabeth Hurley)
Planes, Trains and Automobiles

I can’t believe no one listed Talladega Knights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. I don’t think there was one scene that I didn’t laugh out loud.
