Read the reviews!~Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (TV Movie 1973) - IMDb

Terrific film. They used to show it all the time on the ABC Afternoon movie on horror week along with BAD RONALD and WHEN MICHAL CALLS.

Awful remake with too much CGI tomfoolery.

Thanks. Forgot a couple.

MARTIN (very, very, very, VERY disturbing).

DUST DEVIL (but be sure to bet the full length 122 minute version. A horror film wrapped in an oddly beautiful visual poem).

I thought I was one of the biggest Halloween fans until this:

THE MYERS HOUSE NC

Thought about hitting up his Halloween bash this year. Definitely legit.

I neglected to mention one of the best--George Romero's Night of the Living Dead, the mother of all zombie flicks. It was on TV a few nights ago. I landed on it towards the end, but watched anyway ("They're coming to get you, Barbara!").

And no one in that farm house gets out alive!

ETA: Looks like there are a few "scary movies" threads. The movie I mentioned on one of them, was Spoorlos--truly terrifying.
