Both fun, but I liked Mrs Doubtfire better.

I haven't seen Tootsie since I was a kid. But even as a kid, I remember thinking it was overly preachy. So I'd have to go with Mrs. Doubtfire.

Mrs. Doubtfire. It had heart behind it as a father wanted to be a part of his children's lives after divorce.

The one thing I did not like in Tootsie was how he treated his best friend, played by Teri Garr. He really should have just told her the truth. At least he seemed to learn from it. The movie did have some funny moments though.

At least Robin William's character was just trying to spend time with his children. And I like that it did not have the typical happy romantic ending.

I cannot choose sorry lol.

Tootsie is a brilliant comedy - full of great verbal humor and acting subtleties.

Mrs. Doubtfire is a heavy-handed hack movie, dependent on a lot of stupid slapstick.

Mrs Doubtfire, Robin William's talent in that movie was so good.
