Milk Duds, purchased from elsewhere, because I'd rather pay $1 than $3.
One of these days I'm going to try bringing my own bag of popcorn. If they try to stop me I'll just point out that they have illegals on their cleaning crew -- we'll see who wins that one.
Once, I put some nice wine in an empty water bottle and brought it in.. I felt very decadent.
Awesome! lol
I love Twizzlers at the movies.
We usually buy at the concession stand, but if we're not running late, we'll stop at WalMart or even a gas station and pick up treats there instead.
When I was a kid, my mother would give me 75 cents to go to the Bainbridge Theater for a Saturday double feature, with cartoons. 50 cents to get in, and they gave you a "pay day" envelope. Most envelopes had a penny, but some had a nickle, a few dimes, and some occassional quarters.
I'd use the leftover change for a 15 cent bag of popcorn, a 10 cent cup of soda and with my penny, I'd get a Mary Jane peanut butter candy or a B-B-Bat!
Now, many moons later, it's still popcorn and soda, though a bit more expensive, as my favorite movie foods.
Things like 'Taco bell' would not be allowed unless you smuggled it, the smell would give you away. Theaters make money on concessions so they dont allow food brought in. (at least around here) I bring my water cuz 3 $ for water is silly.
