Patty Jenkins gets it.
I love that she loves sincerity in her heroes.
To her, being sincere is not a bad word.
That is why Wonder Woman connected with audiences: here we had a superhero that *gasp* was actually heroic!! And kind! And selfless! You know...all the qualities associeted with the word "hero."
What a radical concept in a universe of 'cool,' dark, tormented, navel gazing superidiots.
To Snyder, superheroes need to be cool above anything else, even at the expense of being true to the character.
Gal works as Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman as a move didn't because it seemed like Captain America: The First Avenger with Greek myth and in World War I not World War II. It was too "Copy my homework" for my tastes. I get it, she was World War II product like Capt. was, but it came off too close to it. Now I loved her(Gal) in Batman V. Superman and for that I am still excited for Wonder Woman 84.

Snyder ruined Flash with Ezra Miller portraying Barry for me. He wanted Wally West but couldn't figure out why he would be The Flash, so he took Wally and made him Barry's backstory and name. Seriously watch the trailer that was out there before reboots and tell me Ezra Miller wasn't acting the same way for Snyder's vision and what Joss ended up delivering with Justice League.

Huh? Unless you like Spice World for being kitschy, I don't think it is a good thing to compare Birds of Prey to Spice World... It looks weird. Not sure if it is a good weird or a bad weird.

Superman Returns was a BORING pseudo remake of Donner’s classic. Wonder Woman proved that you can take several narrative cues from the classic Donner movie and still end up with an exciting, vibrant, well crafted movie in its own right. Heck, Gal Gadot had more of Reeve's sweet charisma in her pinky than Brandon Routh had in his whole body.

I read a lot of Spidey comics over the years, but somehow Morbius never made it onto my radar. The only thing I found remotely interesting was seeing Michael Keaton at the end. Even though I haven't been particularly impressed by either of the last two Spidey flicks, I did love Keaton in the movie.

It is weird Birds of Prey was like Deadpool but I didn't have a problem with it like I did Wonder Woman. It bombing I think is because it is a sequel to Suicide Squad which wasn't that good.
