Anyone joining in on page 30 of a discussion about a movie already in wide release has no one but themselves to blame for spoilers.
I agree with you, although there are still people griping about "spoilers" for movies released a year ago...because they haven't come out on Netflix yet.
Amazingly, people click on YouTube videos clearly titled "In-depth Analysis of Classic Movie X" and gripe about there not being any spoiler warnings.
MarkuS, are you too lazy to click the little grey box?
It's the spoilers within quotes within spoilers within quotes within spoilers. Some posts go so far back that when I get to the original comment I expect to see "Originally posted by Moses."

Anyone who gets on the Internet and then whines about spoilers needs a good swift kick in the asterisk. If you don't want to get wet, stay out of the fargin pool.
I seem to have read somewhere that A4 is supposed to begin five years later...
I'm dubious of that, since there are sequels in the works for several characters who "died" in this movie. I doubt all those sequels are going to kick the can five years down the road.

I've only replied directly to Ralph and one other user, so I guess I'm not to blame.

But who knows?
Those sequels are all scheduled at the moment after Avengers 4. They'll slip if anything.
I expect the "disappearances" will encompass no more than a few days --- or may be erased entirely in the next movie. When you have magic stones that can time travel and re-write reality, nothing is settled.
That aspect is ruining it for me personally, if a characters death is now meaningless, whats the point anymore?
Besides that, in any future movies, they will never be able to top Thanos with another villain.

That has been the death knell of most comic books for the past 40 years. Death no longer has any meaning because no one ever stays dead. Death has become a gimmick.

The movie format changes that a bit. Eventually the actor will get too old. They can get by a bit with prequels, but movie audiences won't hang too long with parallel universes, reboots, and multiple timelines.
Spoiler
In this case, I certainly hope the pre-snap deaths are permanent for the Marvel movie universe.

Agreed. That’s just the nature of comic books/comic book movies.
