From the preview, it looks as if it's ALL about cars, although this review proclaims otherwise.

Boring, fell asleep. Couldn’t understand Bale at all. He might as well have spoken in French.

Hannah Elliot, the critic at “Bloomberg,” is very unhappy with the movie – extremely so:

Too many men, and the worst kind, straight white men.

“Because Ford v Ferrari shows a generation best left dead and gone.”

“Picture this: During all 152 minutes of the film—which, for those who love vintage racing cars, will feel as good as an ice cream sundae on a summer afternoon, and you can read all about that here—men dominate the screen for 98% of the time, by my unofficial count. They are in the executive suites at Ford and Ferrari, in the workshops and garages in Venice, on the track out at Willow Springs Raceway. (And when I say men, I mean white, straight men.) “

And We should care what she thinks why??? Racing was dominated by men as well as companies like Ford and Ferrari, etc she’ll be okay.

Would she feel better if filmmakers altered history so that the movie portrayed 51% of American mechanics, racecar drivers, and auto company executives in 1966 as women and 38% as minorities? How dumb.
