Admittedly, this movie sat by the side for the longest time because I thought it was going to be some very low production flick. It isn't, it's pretty well done with beautiful photography, great backgrounds, a terrific unknown cast, and for the sensuality of it....no nudity! (well, aside from a few rumps)

It's something to get hooked into for a look, on a lonely Saturday night, when you are remembering other times of being at the beach house on lonely weekend nights. A 7.5.

Kindar the Invulnerable

I've been trying to get through this movie for two weeks but things have just been that busy and while movies can be on a few theme nights, they can't be on every theme night. So what's in the machine has to wait until it is time.

That said, this flick must have been quite fantastic back in its day. Wonderful battles, terrific chests, fantastic backgrounds, and a pretty decent story at that! Say a 7.6.

Grounded this weekend, so I am catching up on the movie theme nights I have missed. Hardly a scary movie.....but the leading man is to die for! And why not, it's Sergio Fantoni (What did you do in the war, Daddy?)! Say a 5.6.

Westworld (1973)

Someone here mentioned this one a long while back. It's been in our Netflix queue forever. We finally finished it tonight. My SO is about 5-6 years younger than I, and he remembers seeing this back in the day. I have no recollection of it whatsoever.

Anyway, I think it's really held up, given the year it was made. Many movies today don't even stand up to it, with this subject matter. It's pretty fun for the most of it, until things go inevitably wrong. I always love Richard Benjamin. Seeing a younger James Brolin, it was crazy seeing how much his son Josh resembles him. Dick Van Patten.

Summing it up, it's basically a futuristic Fantasy Island. 4/5 stars.

Call it a way of understanding things like this. It's a nice movie to look at with great opening photography but I worked out the answer a short time before it was presented......and I really wasn't listening to the movie. Say a 6.5 for the visual presentation.

As classic old westerns go, this one is incredibly boring. It's nice to look at, there is tension that the hero will do something to cause drama, but nothing really happens till the last quarter of the movie (which is where most of the trailer comes from). A 4.5.

Well, it is not Vincent Price, it isn't Roger Corman but one thing is for certain.......the villain is certainly unhinged! Say about 5.2.

Thunder Force (2021)

I liked this better than I thought I would, but we were having some wine while we watched so that might have had something to do with it.

Jason Bateman's character...
