I bought this one 4 years ago, before I moved on the ranch, during a Hayley Mills buying spree and finally got around to rewatching it, the first and the time before being on Clark AFB during the days of MACV. While I remembered a lot of the scenes as a distant memory, the details leading up to them were new again to me. For example, Wilfrid Hyde-White's part in the flick was totally lost to me (even though I had seen My Fair Lady and John Goldfarb, please come home in those same years of my childhood).
I watched it with the memories of a child and hence a very open mind and, considering all the related flicks of today we might have seen, a very open mind is necessary in order to enjoy it to the fullest. Say a 8.7.
As mysteries go, this series follows things so the path of how they get to the conclusion is there but how they get to each individual point might be lost....if it weren't for a fortunate dead body showing up. It was fun, they kept to the purpose of the movie, and San Francisco has some weird traffic laws, even back then....but we've always known that! 7.2.
A Year in Burgundy (2013), Amazon Prime - 8/10. Interesting documentary about wine making in the Burgundy region of France. All in French, so it comes with it's own subtitles and I could turn off the English translation with all of the stray [ cat meows ] [ soothing music plays ] [ footsteps ] etc.
an old favorite that can classify as a horror movie. It was in the machine for the breakfast movie and I had a short evening, so not much time to spend. A beautiful starlet, a fantastic villain and no private army for Bond. A 9.0.
Busy weekend so Sci Fi Saturday and Men&Women of Steel Sunday got combined with this flick. It's silly but fun (and after a week like this, necessary), a 7.2 on the first look.

Truth is a 2015 American historical/political drama film written and directed by James Vanderbilt in his directorial debut. It is based on American television news producer Mary Mapes's memoir Truth and Duty: The Press, the President and the Privilege of Power. The film focuses on the Killian documents controversy, and the resulting last days of news anchor Dan Rather and producer Mary Mapes at CBS News.
Based on an account of circumstances surrounding George W. Bush avoiding military service.
I was intrigued by it and found it to be believable. One has to pay attention to it because there are details which are raised along with accusations of inappropriate handling, reporting and falsehoods.
