From The Book Thief, just watched today:

'Words are the scribe of the soul.' (Aristotle.)

'If your eyes could speak, what would they say'?

'While ten thousand frightened people hid underground, trembling with fear, one Jew (standing alone outside for the first time in three years) thanked God for the stars that blessed his eyes.'

'Words are life, Liesel.'

Liesel: "But what did Papa do wrong?"

Max: "He reminded them of their humanity."

It's a wonderful movie. (The book is good too.)

Mahrie.

So many lines in the movie "As Good as it Gets" - Helen Hunt gets up from the table (at the restaurant) and Jack Nickelson said, "Oh come on, I didn't mean for it to sound like that, would you just sit down, you can still give me the dirty look. LOL too funny !

Who wants to be Joan of Arc? Forget France, she was burnt at the stake and a virgin, okay. Nothing I aspired to. What a great achievement.

You and your plans. You know what my grandmother used to say? If you want to make God laugh - tell Him your plans.

I can't pick an all-time favorite, but here are a few.

"What we do in this life echoes in eternity."
Russell Crowe in The Gladiator.

"You gave me a 'forever' within the numbered days, and for that I am eternally grateful." Shailene Woodley in The Fault in our Stars.

"We've ALL got it coming." Clint Eastwood in Unforgiven.
