An excellent spy movie with wonderful European photography. It opens up a lot like The Eiger Sanction, has feelings of Midnight Express, and in a way, it is like a serious version of Hopscotch. There are twists all along the way, beautiful men, familiar faces, and it is best to watch the movie cold sober.

On an Airplane from NYC to Miami, I finally watched Black Panther.

Not sure what all the hoopla was on this movie. It was pretty basic. It was ok. The villain had more personally than the hero. The last fight between Killmonger and Black Panther was horrible. Too much CGI.

On the return trip from Miami to NYC, i watched Pacific Rim Uprising. It was also ok. The ending was pretty stupid. "we will take the fight to them!". I was not a fan of the little girl who created her own robot. Come on! The pro girl powers in film is becoming absurd.

Just watched "I, Tonya".

Good movie.

Alison Janney was great as Tonya's mother.

"Navigating the Heart"
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0206750/?ref_=nv_sr_1

First of all, it's SUPERCHICK Wednesday, so the movie picked where the woman has the lead. Secondly, Wednesdays are one of my busy days, so I was looking for a short movie. Third, I picked up the movie last October when I got into a Jaclyn Smith buying kick.

All that said, it is a pretty good movie. Admittedly, there are several elements in it that I can relate to, from the sophisticated to the simple, from damming rivers to ground water grabs, to being the rough and tumble type.

I don't think it is a guide for life but it did give a nice escape from it.
