Went to "NightSchool"
Friend needed a break after some surgery
She thought it was funny
It had a decent message about getting an education but was really mottled in execution...
Watched "The Children Act" OnDemand
Emma Thomson and Stanley Tucci
Interesting--especially because of the English legal system behind the scenes--and the Jehovah's Witness medical issues
Hard to understand what motivated the Judge played by Thomson but she was so explicit in her other cases
But this likely will go down as one of her least liked movies
'The Sisters' Brothers"
Not what we were expecting--
Very realistic view of certain aspect of Gold Rush era in Oregon and Northern CA--
Shot lot on location
Good set/costuming
Interesting story --always compelling--but not really a comedy--more like Coen Brothers Western...
We just had a friend over for dinner tonight and she had never seen “Snatch”, so we watched that. My wife and I had seen it before but joyed it enough to repeat. Do yourself a favor and turn on subtitles for it.
