Have that flick, I think, just haven't watched it yet.

Think I picked up in a sweep with
Not with My Wife, You Don't! (1966) - IMDb
(which has her, which I saw a lot as a child, and was hilarious (at least from a child's point of view))
and
A Guide for the Married Man (1967) - IMDb
(seen as a child, laughed)

The Secret Life of Words (2005)

I'm kind of speechless about this one. I don't know how to describe it. It's beautiful, tragic, amusing. It starts verrry slow, but builds up to...

I highly recommend it.

Last night we watched 'Joy' and 'The Benefactor,' and we gave them both 5 stars! We tried to watch 'The Benefactor' a second time (kind of standard procedure in this house - y'know, to pick up the details we missed), but hubby and I fell asleep after cozying up to watch. (Happens every time!)

Tonight we're going to give 'Joy' another whirl.

We both highly recommend both movies.

Cheers,

Jess.

P.S. We also bought and watched 'Misconduct.' Despite the stellar cast (Anthony Hopkins, Al Pacino, and Josh Duhamel heading the bill), the movie was a huge disappointment. The performances were excellent, as one would expect, but the subject matter was disturbing, and the ending made no sense - a few incidents didn't - and hubby and I just threw the DVD in the bucket (garbage), knowing that we had zero interest in watching it again - ever. Oh, well, it's not the first time we've wasted $20. (We need a rolleyes emoticon for this forum!)

Love this film! I was lucky enough to see it on the big screen a few years ago when it was restored. Miles Davis doing the soundtrack is an added bonus.
