I try to keep mine at right around 100. It's mainly split between 2/3 films for me and 1/3 Disney stuff for the kids (I adore the collections of old Disney shorts you can get, so everybody wins) with a tv series or two thrown in and whenever my wife says she wants to see something, it automatically gets sent to the #1 spot.
There are 15 right now in the physical queue, we use that for Blu-ray only. Categories are action/adventure, drama, thrillers, foreign, sci-fi, horror, and comedy in roughly equal proportions. The instant queue has 30 titles on it right now, basically the same categories although it also includes more TV series and independent flims. I LOVE the instant watching feature. There are so many titles that I really enjoyed that I never would have seen without it.
About 35 in the regular queue, and 7-8 in the Save queue.
I used to have more, but want to keep it manageable.
I have not taken much to the Instant feature, dunno why because I have a nice monitor. I guess I just prefer a different environment for watching films.

I didn't like it much on my laptop, but I highly recommend getting a streaming device for your tv. I bet I use my Playstation 3 as much for watching Netflix instant streaming as I do on video games.

Yes--we are already in discussions about this.
It wouldn't even cost that much, would it?

I don't watch them on the monitor. Our Blu-ray player is Netflix compatible so we can easily watch the instant content on the big TV. I am very glad that the player had this feature, it has really made the device far more useful for us than if it only played discs.
We always have <10. We only watch 1 per week or so, so anything more than that is overkill. I couldn't find 150 movies I wanted to watch if my life depended on it!

It depends on what all you're looking for in a device. The roku players that Netflix pushes are right around $100. Blu Ray players with Netflix capability are around $150. My PS3 was $300 (which is also a blu ray player). Just do your homework and then sit back and enjoy the greatness that is streaming to your tv.
