"Purple People Eater" by Sheb Wooley. (Don't ask). All I know, is it was my FAVORITE song when I was a preschooler (early '60's). It was buried in my boxes of 45's, until, when DH installed an old record player/stereo at our house, and I played it. It got a LOT of attention. An alien performing rock and roll on TV out of a horn in its head? An alien that sounds like Alvin and the Chipmunks?
