I went to their concert a couple weeks ago. I'd never had the opportunity to go to one. I was just blown away. More than just a few musicians on stage, that's for sure. Unbelieveable. Their live version of "Every Breaking Wave" is unreal. And I love "Song for Someone" Their new album is great. I hope everyone that doesn't care for their new stuff at least gives it a chance. Bono's voice was incredible live. They really outdid themselves at the show. I'm kind of ruined for other concerts now.

I am a more casual fan and a newer fan, so my favorite was the first U2 album that I purchased: All That You Can't Leave Behind. I think that is typically how it goes with most music fans, that first feel-good memory becomes the eternal favorite. I think "Walk On" is the one of the best songs that they have ever done and is a personal favorite of mine. I don't mind the more pop-oriented stuff that they do, as long as the songs are good (and I think stuff like "Walk On" and "Stuck in a Moment" are).

I would probably go with War then Achtung, Baby. I had both on cassette along with The Joshua Tree.

It's funny, on War, I wore out the tape by playing the non-hits repeatedly. I loved "Red Light," "Surrender," "Like A Song" and "Drowning Man."

Nah, I threw out the tape when I bought the CD. I still have Achtung and a few other tapes, but I haven't played any of these tapes in 20 years. I had to blow the dust out of the box.
