Are we asking trivia questions or just posting trivia?

I've heard this as gospel and I've heard this was just a rumor:

The tambourine man in Mr. Tambourine Man is a dealer selling out of his hollow tambourine with a bottom on it. If he thinks he sees the cops, he just flips the tambourine over and starts playing it.

Speaking of Grace Slick, has anyone here caught the Youtube video of the Dick Cavett Show with the Airplane, Stills and Crosby, and Joni Mitchell the day after Woodstock. What I couldn't get over was how young they were. Were we ever that young too?

I always thought it was gibberish. But after looking it up, it's not. I'll let someone else look it up as well... nice bit of new knowledge.

Reference "Tusk", the non-musical instruments were a Kleenex box (Lindsay Buckingham) and a spatula and lamb chop combination (Mick Fleetwood).

This person composed Johnny Cash's highest charting single (his only US #2 hit on Billboard) as well as the band Dr. Hook's highest charting single (#5) but the average person on the street knows him as a children's author and not a songwriter at all! Who is he?

I college I heard, on his weekly radio show, Dr. Demento explain that once, as he introduced Shel Silverstein's "Sarah Cynthia Sylvia Stout". He did so because the Dr. Hook song included part of the name of the Dr. Demento poem/song.

And the name in the corner of the thumbnail when you enlarge it confirms it.

Saw the Airplane at the Capitol Theater in Port Chester NY. Gracie had a very distinctive voice, put on a great show, and was a very good looking woman to boot.

She does some interesting art work now.

Has the previous one been solved?

Who among you can tell me the name of a musical instrument played during a performance by Paul McCartney other than guitar and piano?

What is the real name of the writer of Born to be Wild? You may know him as Mars Bonfire.

Where did the Lovin' Spoonful get their name from?

Name the other musical siblings of James Taylor and who did he write Sweet Baby James for?

Who wrote what popular song in response to Neil Young's Sugar Mountain?

I listened to Benny and the Jets when it came out in the 1970s and up until a year ago I thought it was live. I searched for the studio version and found there wasn't one. Elton's band just made it sound that way.
