Well I'm only really flitting around the edges 6/3!
I've always been a little wary of jumping right into the fray of the mosh! (might break a nail! )
Anyway, I know this has been posted but it's gotta be one of my all time favs. There's something brutally intriguing about the lead singer or maybe I'm just mesmerized by the six pack?
i like the knot too, but if you're in the mood for somethin a little more mellow Stonesour rocks-imo
saw them on tour right before the first album came out -was pretty insane
Well, I see some new doors have been opened on the thread. So, I figured I'd start taking advantage. But for an appetizer, let's try a little "Rollins Band" Saw this guy about a year and a half ago at the Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh. It wasn't a music show, it was more like a speaking engagement. But man, the guy is funny, smart, and extremely pissed off.
There was a glorious short period in metal's history when hardore punk bands started to "go metal" and created a sub-genre. It didn't last long but it was a great time for metal.
D.R.I. made an album that seems to have named the movement: Crossover.
Here is The 5 Year Plan from that album...
The Deftones have always been a favorite of mine. Confessor, now that is old school and an acquired taste. But the band is awesome. And of course, Godsmack. A favorite ever since "Whatever" hit the airwaves. They've gone a bit commercial since then, but the old stuff still rocks.
:: ponders :: It might be to many embeds per
post...
Tell you what... maybe only 3 songs per post
( use whatever number of post you need to get it out tho.. )
Cause there is great music on this page but it just won't
let me rep anyone... the bar is constantly working or
streaming or whatever it does so we have to outsmart it...
The music submitted is great!... Congrats to
everyone's contribution... I hope to start repping real soon!
Also even if you're quoting someone... just go into
edit and remove the" [ youtube ] eeeeee[ youtube ]" part
if its more than 3 songs in total on that post...
I've tried several different ways to see if I could rep but
can't... and I think I've ran out of post I can rep folks
with... gonna try and see if I can get a new page started
so bare with me...
Thanks everyone...
