Thanks, I guess. Erich Kunzel and Ellie Greenwich are the only ones in the list I'm familiar with, but I've heard of most of them. It's sad.

A lot of good people there. Chris Connor was one of the top jazz vocalists in her day; her career goes back well over fifty years as her early recordings were on the Bethlehem label starting in 1954, and then had a long run with Atlantic for close to a decade.

And Ellie Greenwich paired up with husband Jeff Barry to make up one of the top pop and rock songwriting duos of the 50's and 60's.Here's a few of them; Be My Baby-Ronnettes, BabyI Love You-Ronettes, Leader Of The Pack-Shangrilas, Hanky Panky-Tommy James and the Shondells, Chapel Of Love-Dixie Cups, and dozens more classic oldies. Ellie also recorded two lp's which are very collectible with 60's collectors; Let It Be Written, Let it Be Sung on the MGM/Verve label, and Ellie Greenwich Composes, Produces, and Sings on the United Artist label. Both are definitely worth seeking out.

Lots of other good people there no longer with us.
