I remember way back when during construction, some bigwig commented that visitors of this park would need two days to see everything they have within the park....

Damn, driving down 501 with friends from outta state.... we drove right past the park and my buddy turns to me and says.... "Hey, where are they putting that HardRock Park up?"....

ummmm.... "we passed it 2 miles ago...."

Someone also recently told me there is a website???? New owners website maybe??? And a place on the site for people like us and locals to give our opinion...

Anyone know of it?

You might try MyrtleBeachonline.com or Hardrockblog.com
The first site has all the people who are owed from the Park.......It is quite a ton of money to so many various people and companies.
It is small. I went to take pictures of it before it opened, and I was stunned by how small it was....

Sad thing I heard last night is that admission is........$39.00. Well, Me Oh My Oh.......
That ten dollar savings from the fifty it was before is not going to make a dent.
People did not like the cost of the park the first time around........Do they understand that by adding a "couple" of kiddie rides, things will not change?
People are not going to make the same mistake again for a couple of additions.......
The price is not right.........( and I really feel bad about that)
Now, all the employee hopefuls are lined up looking for jobs........Happy faces.....
Doesn't anyone see the facts here? It is the same park, with the same things albiet a few additions........
It needs major additions...A waterpark, a theme area, an all around beautification........
So as happy that I am that it is coming back.......
It needs so much more, and so far.........that isn't happening.
