I dont hate Bellevue at all. Its just not comparable to Franklin or Brentwood. I actually go to McKays books alot.

how comparable are the schools / crime of say Brentwood / Bellevue compared to MJ?

Crime and schools would be better in Brentwood compared to MJ. Bellevue would be worse compared to MJ. Brentwood and MJ are state ranked on safety. According to Motovo.com 2013 FBI rankings MJ was 4th and Brentwood was 9th. Franklin came in at 2nd.

I actually just got back from lunch a moment ago in the Bellevue area, but it was just in a really busy crowded shopping type area. I didnt get a chance to really scope out the residential scene much.


EDIT....I lied...looks like it was more the Belle Meade area than bellevue.

They are pretty similar. Just a million or so difference between the house prices.

Just keep in mind, Bellevue is Davidson County schools for whatever its worth.

yeah...i notice that the ratings go down a little. Im not sure if we are going to put our child in public or private though when that time comes. We still have a little while.
