septimus, for what you are describing that seems a little steep to me. A resource you might want to check out is the Brentwood Camera Club(
Brentwood Camera Club - Home ). The BCC is a large organization of professional and serious amateur photographers. One of the officers could probably put you in touch with a couple of photographers that are more reasonably priced. This might be an option if you don't find anything acceptable in the Yellow Pages. Good luck.

That's outrageous. The most I've ever paid for a professional photographer (not counting my wedding) was about $200.

My daughter does pics and provides the cd to do whatever you wish with for less than what you paid two years ago I am sure.
