hey just wanted to get some info about nashville...i'll be moving there soon, followed by a friend and we will be looking for a two bedroom something--preferably a loft--or some other type of place that we can live and work from. he will be attending MTSU, but we're not really sure where the "cool" parts of town are. i've heard good things about east nashville. we are both heavily into music and--for lack of a better term--the bar scene; so info on those would be nice as well. anyway hit me up here or at [EMAIL="chrismateja@yahoo.com"]chrismateja@yahoo.com[/EMAIL] or myspace.com/chrismateja if ya got any advice or ideas for us, cheers.

East Nashville is great if you're a musician. I would suggest finding something near the 5 Points if you're into the bar scene. Check out 3 Crow or Red Door East.

Does he want to Commute to MTSU everyday from Nashville? Its not all the close especially if you have a 8am class. Maybe you should look for an apartment in Murfreesboro. There are many places there and the rents are less. There is a Nice Complex off Medical Pky called the Aldridge, its fairly new, clubhouse and pool. Its also off 24 so going downtown is easy, and its not far from MTSU, but away from Student Apartments.
