Well,my family and I will be moving from a city that has an NBA team...the Indiana Pacers. But I didn't really follow them being a Laker fan and all.I would like to see Nashville get the Grizzlies. For real...I think Nashville can support an NBA team and considering Memphis' owner is trying to get out of dodge...Nashville would be perfect...I would go the games(even though I'm still a Laker fan. LOL!!!!!!!)

If the Predators were to leave town, then yes I could see Nashville supporting an NBA team. But I don't think Nashville could support both.

Personally I prefer the NHL over the NBA. It doesn't bother me at all that Tennessee's NBA team is in Memphis.

Wasn't there a failed attempt 10 or so years ago to get the Timberwolves?

I don't think it was a failed attempt as much as the Timberwolves using Nashville as a pawn in its little game of getting a better arena deal in Minnesota.

I wonder whether nashville could support an nba franchise. I'm certainly against further diluting the league by adding another team, but I'd go if the hornets or grizzlies were to move here.

qwe123safi,

I was wonder why the NBA put the team in Memphis instead of Nashville?

Do you think it is because Charlotte had a hard time with the team they had?

Not going to happen. City isn't big enough and basketball isn't really a big deal to most Nashvillians. I would rather see the hockey team continue to grow its fan base than to have a league that is riddled with problems here in this town. The NBA can stay in Memphis.

Tax payers aren't likely to approve any financing for an NBA team move either. They've been screwed way too many times before.

Nashville is bigger than a lot of cities with basketball teams.
