Thinking out loud -- you didn't say how old the kids are, how many chaperones/parents there are, or if this is an event/party or just grabbing food. If you're just trying to get something for everyone to eat and the kids are old enough to not be under the watchful eye every second, there's a group of restaurants that share a parking-lot strip on Cool Springs Boulevard west of I-65: Moe's Southwest Grill, McAlister's Deli, McDougal's (chicken tenders) and Burgers & Cream. You could park there and let everyone go where they wanted, solving the huge-group problem. Again, *if* that's an option.

Pueblo Real on West Main is good and cheap. Boscos is also good. It is a brew pub type place, but I take my toddlers
